Just checked in with Kayla yesterday after getting another haircut and 2 more people used the 50% discount. I asked if there were any Labor Day coupons, but, there aren't any. At least for this one. It's been a while since I posted, but I found out that 3 more people used the coupon. Not bad, hey, that's a lot more savings for everyone. I guess more and more guys are using the coupons for special occasions. Ok, I'm getting a little older went in to Rooster's the other day for another haircut. Said, Kayla, hey, I need something new, I'm turning 40, had the same haircut for approximately, 30 years. She of course obliged and all I did was sit back and enjoy. I didn't know what type of haircut I was going to get, but was confident it would be good.

She finished up and it was great. Now, I have a new haircut, something that makes me look even younger. Not bad.

On a side note, I asked how the coupons were doing for the 50% off men's haircut. Holy cow, there were 4 other people that had used the coupon. I know this sounds weird, but hey, I'm a loyal customer. And, if I can pass on a discount to someone, who knows, then why not. I guess it's that pay it forward thing. Ok, went for another haircut today at Rooster's they said they love the coupons. Not bad for 50% off. Kayla seems to be getting some new clients. Tried the American Crew grooming cream today, looks pretty good. Essentially, I'm moving away from the gelled look I had for about 10 years.

Anyway, walked on in with my scheduled appointment and sat right down, no waiting. Great haircut during my lunch time at ING. Of course, had the works which comes with every haircut. Had the coffee in one hand, hair wash, shaved neck (always like a nice clean shaven look). Had the aloe scented towel over my face while I had a nice shoe polish. And, of course to finish it off, a nice back massage with one of those vibrating massagers (for your back). Have to love it, nice relaxing lunch coming back refreshed for a quick afternoon.

Just had another haircut yesterday. Still enjoy going to Rooster's for a lunch haircut. It doesn't affect my day, schedule or time off. I'm in and out, no one even knows I'm gone from work.

Something different happened yesterday. I was leaving and they told me someone had used the 50% off a men's haircut coupon here on the site. I was impressed, people still use coupons today. Today, I went in again for another haircut. One change though, I'm wearing glasses now. Ugh, getting older. So, as I walked in I mentioned this to Kayla. Happy to my surprise, she mentioned that because I was wearing glasses, I'd have to watch out for "hair flair". So, pretty cool, didn't even know that existed.

Ok, so maybe I'm a loyal customer, hence the 50% off coupon that's posted here. But, if you're looking for the best men's haircut in Atlanta, I'd recommend Roosters. (All of the information can be found on the coupon here.) Essentially, getting a haircut at Roosters was a brand new experience for me. I was used to going to the Hair Cuttery. It was really close, and I could go whenever I wanted. But, going there felt like going to McDonald's. Since I have cow licks, sometimes my haircut was good and sometimes not, my hair would stick up.

Men's Haircut

Well, when I went into Rooster's, they examined my hair and noticed I had the cow licks. So, right off, I knew my haircut would be pretty good. I also forgot to mention that I had a cup of coffee in my hand, blonde and sweet as they put it (cream and sugar). So, they cut my hair and it looked great. Next, was a wash. They washed my hair while I had a steamed towel on my face. Extremely relaxing. After the cut, a nice back massage.

Well, I have to admit, I'm pretty frugal. For years, 20+, I've headed to the franchises like Great Clips or the Hair Cuttery. So, one day, I figured, what the heck, I'll take a chance. A friend of mine had recommended Rooster's because it was pretty cool. I thought, what could be cool about a haircut.

I went for my first haircut. Upon entering, I was greeted and offered a bottled water or coffee. Pretty nice, never had that before. I've also been told you can get a beer. Haven't tried it, after all, I go during lunch times. Next cool thing, I had an appointment. Guess what, I was actually sitting for my haircut at that time. Perfect for me, didn't want to sit around during lunch time waiting for a haircut.

The haircut of course was good, great conversation as well. That is while I didn't glance over to the TV to watch some of the game. Also included in the haircut was a wash. So, before getting my haircut, they placed a hot towel on my face. Nice touch. Then, after the haircut was over, a nice quick massage.

So, needless to say, I was amazed. Never had I had a haircut that I didn't have to wait for, had a hot towel, water/coffee, and a chair massage. When I walked out, I was completely relaxed and felt great.
